
Step into the heart of Marrakech’s Medina where Chef Aicha will guide you through an immersive Moroccan culinary journey. The experience begins with welcome mint tea, setting the mood in a traditional riad. You’ll then join Chef Aicha to plan the menu and walk together through the nearby traditional covered market (souk), breathing in aromas of spices and selecting fresh, local ingredients.
Back in the riad’s kitchen, you’ll cook under Aicha’s guidance: one starter, two main dishes, and a dessert. The dishes are selected together, using authentic cooking methods, and there are options for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free adaptations if requested ahead of time. Once everything is prepared, enjoy your meal on the rooftop terrace or in the courtyard, overlooking the old city.
All ingredients and cooking materials are provided. Within about a week after the class, Tarik Travel will send you the recipes by email so you can recreate the flavors at home. It’s a hands-on, sensory experience — taste, smell, see, chop, simmer, and share the results.
